Security Monitoring Detail For Your Vehicle

While some people may not be convinced that a security detail for a car is necessary, those who have cautious tendencies may be interested. Recently, my sister-in-law stopped by for a family visit. Assuming we were in a decent neighborhood, she left her car unlocked at overnight. She later discovered that the GPS my brother had gotten her for Christmas was stolen.

Vehicle Security MonitoringI also have a lot to lose if my wagon was ever broken into or stolen. Since I’m always super organized and prepared, and always on the fly, I keep my Garmin Nuvi in my glovebox, a driver’s license (in case I lose my state ID in my wallet), my iPod, a winter grade sleeping bag and tent, pillows, expensive first aid kit, extra jackets, fleece blanket, beach towels, lounge chair, extra clothes for most events (work clothes, going out, pajamas), and even a bag of food and water (in case I get stranded).

Having a siren alarm on my car is all well and good, but that does me no good when I’m not around.

Since I’ve been hearing of a lot of break-ins in rural areas, I really considered a security detail for my car. I set up two motion detectors for the drive way and a surveillance camera on the porch. I integrated a sensor controlled relay so that when the motion detector is triggered, the sensor controlled relay would turn on surveillance camera and record the event.

Anyone else that has just as much to lose, then I suggest securing your home with Ravica’s security monitoring system.
